Ghayl Fort is located inland of the coastal city of Kalba in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Built in the late C19th, the current fort was constructed on top of the foundations of a C17th watchtower.
The 18th century construction of Ghayl Fort was commenced by Ali Bin Zahi in 1800 but completed by Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi, the Al Qasimi wali of Kalba. Four and a half kilometres inland of Kalba, the fort has a commanding view of the lower reaches of the Wadi Helo. The entrance to the fort faces West and it has a prominent four-story watchtower to the North. With an inner area of 15 x 20 metres, the fort was reduced once again to the role of watchtower in the 20th century before being restored. Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi also maintained a seaside house in Kalba.

Al Ghail hiking trail is a very beautiful and quiet trail located near the Sharjah Kalba area. The path is very well made and the route is approximately 8 km long.
It is very easy to hike along the right path and doesn’t worry about getting lost. The sunrise view from here, the view of Kalba town, and the farmlands are also very beautiful.

Ski Dubai
Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort with 22,500 square meters of the indoor ski area. The park maintains a temperature of -1 degrees to 2 degrees Celsius throughout the year. It is a part of the Mall of the Emirates, one of the largest shopping malls in the world, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It was developed by the Majid Al Futtaim Group, which also operates the Mall of the Emirates. Opened in November 2005, the indoor resort features an 85-meter-high indoor mountain (equivalent to a 25-story building) with 5 slopes of varying steepness and difficulty, including a 400-meter-long run, the world’s first indoor black diamond run, and various features (boxes, rails, kickers) that are changed on a regular basis. A chairlift and a tow lift carry skiers and snowboarders up the mountain. Equipment such as skis and jackets are provided with the ticket and one can buy equipment in the nearby stores. Adjoining the slopes is a 3,000-square-metre Snow Park play area comprising sled and toboggan runs, an icy body slide, climbing towers, giant snowballs, and an ice cave. Ski Dubai also houses a number of penguins who are let out of their enclosures several times a day. Penguin encounters can be booked, allowing the public to interact directly with the penguins.
Hatta Heritage Village

Hatta Heritage Village is a reconstruction of a traditional mountain village located in Hatta, in the Al Hajar Mountains, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The mosque and houses within Hatta Heritage Village were originally constructed from materials such as mud, palm tree trunks and fronds (barasti), reeds, and stone. The village consists of 30 buildings, many of which have interior furnishings typical of the UAE in the period prior to development in the 1960s onwards. The village was opened to the public in February 2001 after extensive renovation and is currently owned and managed by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

Global Village started out in the form of a number of kiosks in January 1997 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. It then later shifted to the Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for 5 years. Today, Global Village has 6 million visitors at its current location on exit of Sheikh Zayed Exit 37 in Wadi Al Safa. There are four main sections in the Village. These sections consist of events and concerts, carnivals, food, and shopping. The food aisle will have food from all over the world. Concerts, carnivals, and shopping are the same. Dubai Global Village has one of the largest capacity parking in Dubai with a total capacity of 18300 vehicles. The parking is divided into two main categories. One is general parking which is free of cost while the other is paid parking known as VIP Parking. There is valet parking available as well. The parking has a free train and shuttle bus to and from the park.
