The valley starts from a mountainous village called Qor or Qur, near the village of Hatta in Dubai, and passes through the villages of Al-Huwailat, Al-Rifaq and Al-Nasla before crossing the Omani border and spreading to the Batinah Plain and the Gulf of Oman north of the Omani village of Bu Baqra.
