Al Wathba Slat lake is a man-made artificial Salt Lake. It’s a calm and quiet place. It’s located in the middle of the desert.
The Salt in it is sourced from the salt flats known as “sabkha”. The giant salt pads creating an alluring stepping stone in the lake usually take several years to form naturally. this place is worth the visit if you are traveling to the middle east.
