Najd Al Maqsar village was reconstructed as a part of tourism development and to preserve the archaeological sites. A viewpoint area was also built so the visitors can also enjoy the view of farm lands surrounding the Fortress area. It is made up of a number of old houses and rocks engraved with drawings of camels and other animals dating back thousands of years. The village provides a glimpse into the history and culture of the region, giving visitors an opportunity to experience traditional life in Najd.
